We are currently accepting proposals for the 2018 Learning Technology Symposium

Presented by the Paul R. MacPherson Institute for Leadership, Innovation & Excellence in Teaching, The Learning and Technology Symposium is an annual event that explores how educational technologies are being used to extend learning outside of the classroom.
the Learning and Technology Symposium brings together experts, faculty, staff, and students to learn about effective strategies and best practices in blended learning. This year’s theme is Making Blended Learning Work.

Dr Tony Bates

Research Associate, Contact North|Contact Nord

Tony Bates is currently a Distinguished Visiting Professor at the Chang School of Continuing Education, Ryerson University and a Distinguished Visiting Scholar at the De Groote School of Business at McMaster University. He is also a Research Associate at Contact North/Contact Nord. He has almost 50 years experience in using technology for teaching, starting in 1969, at the British Open University, where he became a full professor in educational media research.

What about accommodation?

The cost of the hotel accommodation and travel is not included in the event fee. For corporate accommodation rate, please contact us directly.

What payment types do you accept?

All payments are processed via Eventbrite. You may also pay at the time of event. But please reserve your seat by contacting us directly.

Can I get a refund on my tickets?

All tickets are non-refundable unless the event is cancelled by us, in which case we will always make a full refund.
